Frequently Asked Questions

Which Course Should I Take?

Start with Everyday Ghidra for RE fundamentals, Patch Diffing in the Dark to explore vulnerability research with a manual-first approach, guided by real Windows CVEs. Choose Agentic RE if you already know RE and want to build a local LLM stack, train models, and develop agentic RE/VR workflows. Choose Windows Agentic VR to apply multiple coding agents to Windows vulnerability research. See Training Pathways for preparation and prerequisites.

How Do I Book Private Training?

Use our private training inquiry. Include your goals or preferred course, team size, date window, location or time zone, and virtual or on-site preference. We’ll discuss curriculum and provide a proposal before booking. Private dates are arranged directly and do not need to appear on the public calendar.

Where Are Public Dates, Prices, and Registration?

The training schedule lists courses and workshops, with proposed events explicitly marked as planned and not open for booking. Filter by course and format, then open an available event for its price, daily schedule, and registration. Conference partners handle their own registrations. A course in our catalog may not currently have an open public cohort.

How Long Is a Course, and How Many CPE Hours Does It Provide?

FormatDurationCPE Hours
Full In-Person4 days32
Standard Live Virtual5 days, 4 live hours/day, plus independent labs32
Windows Agentic VR Virtual4 days, 4 live hours/day, plus independent labsSee the event page
Conference Edition2 days16

The standard five-day virtual format includes 20 live hours; its 32 CPE hours also include structured labs and self-directed study. Reserve time outside the live sessions. Workshops and partner formats can differ; check the specific event.

What Time Do Virtual Sessions Run?

Use the daily hours and named time zone on the event’s registration page. CSL Agentic RE and Windows Agentic VR virtual cohorts use 09:00–13:00 America/New_York. Other cohorts may differ. Convert using the actual dates: daylight-saving changes mean a fixed global time-zone table will not apply all year.

What Equipment and Experience Do I Need?

Each course page lists prerequisites and hardware/software requirements. Everyday Ghidra assumes basic programming and Windows knowledge. Agentic RE assumes RE comfort; course inference infrastructure is provided, so a local GPU is not required for that course. Windows Agentic VR runs the provided Windows target VMs locally; course inference is provided, so no GPU is required. Check the requirements for the course you book.

Are Recordings and Materials Included?

Courses include slides, lab materials, and instructor support. CSL Agentic RE and Windows Agentic VR virtual cohorts include stream-only catch-up recordings for seven days after the cohort. Recording access can differ by event; do not assume all conference or private sessions are recorded. See the Agentic RE and Windows Agentic VR CSL virtual event pages for their inclusions.

Can My Organization Register a Group or Use Institutional Purchasing?

For a CSL-hosted public cohort, use institutional registration to discuss procurement. Ask about group pricing for a public course, or arrange a dedicated private session. Conference registrations go through the partner.

Can I Book Windows Agentic VR?

Registration is open for the four-day Windows Agentic VR virtual cohort, February 1–4, 2027, and the two-day Black Hat Asia offering, March 2–3, 2027. See the 2027 schedule for both offerings. For future cohorts, contact us to inquire.

What If I Need to Cancel?

For CSL-hosted registrations, see the Terms of Service. For a conference or partner-hosted event, review that organizer’s terms before registering.
